Please note: this position is paid on an hourly basis and limited to 1500 hours per calendar year.  The salary range for Student Assistant is $18.27 - $24.62 per hour. 
 

This position is a part of one-year internship program.

The Santa Ana Regional Water Quality Control Board’s Recycled Water Unit has an opening for a Student Assistant.  The position location is 3737 Main Street, Suite 500, Riverside, CA 92501.

Duties:

The Student Assistant works on a variety of sub-professional tasks related to planning, design, construction and implementation of water quality protection and improvement projects. Knowledge of basic scientific principles is desired. Some travel may be required.

Candidates must possess essential personal qualifications including integrity, initiative, dependability, good judgment, the ability to work cooperatively with others, and the ability to perform the assigned duties of the class.

Salary information – CalHR salary rules allow appointment at the entrance rate (Cal. Code Regs., tit. 2, § 599.673) of a classification. For classes with alternate ranges, placement is based on education/experience.
