Shift Manager

Looking for both Full Time and Part Time managers for 3 different locations:

5394 W. Main St., 6820 W. Main St., &  7900 Adobe Road & 6820 W. Main St, Kalamazoo

As a McDonald's Shift Manager, you will play a crucial role in the day-to-day operations of our restaurant. You will lead and supervise a team of crew members to ensure efficient and high-quality service to our valued customers. Your primary responsibility is to manage the shift effectively, maintain food safety standards, and contribute to the overall success of the restaurant.  We will assist in training of MIT's.  ServSafe Certification & experience a plus.

Job Responsibilities:

Team Leadership
- Supervise and motivate a team of crew members 
- Delegate tasks and ensure that team members perform their duties efficiently
- Provide coaching, training, and feedback to improve performance

Customer Service
- Address customer concerns and resolve issues promptly
- Maintain a clean and welcoming restaurant environment 

Operational Excellence
- Monitor and manage food quality and safety standards
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to meet McDonald's standards
- Ensure that all equipment is in good working order and maintain a safe and clean working environment
- Manage inventory, order supplies, and control food costs effectively

Shift Management
- Coordinate opening and closing procedures and ensure cash handling procedures are followed accurately
- Execute shift changeovers smoothly, including handover to the next shift manager

Compliance and Safety
- Ensure that the restaurant complies with all McDonald's policies and procedures
- Maintain a safe working environment for all employees and customers
- Adhere to health and safety regulations, including sanitation and hygiene standards

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in the fast-food industry preferred 
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of McDonald's policies and procedures preferred 
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
