Senior Vice President, Market Access Solutions
Salary: Commensurate with experience, annual discretionary bonus eligible
Location: Remote or Hybrid (East Windsor, NJ or Malvern, PA), depending on distance from office, two days in-office/three days’ work-from-home

Required Qualifications
Education
• Advanced degree (MBA, MS, PhD) in business, life sciences, health economics, or related field
Experience
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in oncology market research, consulting, or pharmaceutical market access
• Minimum 4 years in a strategic role
• Proven track record in both quantitative and qualitative research methodologies
• Proven track record of building and scaling high-growth business units
Skills & Knowledge
• Deep expertise in oncology market access with comprehensive understanding of stakeholder ecosystems
• Extensive knowledge of pharmaceutical commercialization, launch strategies, and lifecycle management
• Expert understanding of healthcare policy, reimbursement dynamics, and regulatory landscape
• Proven experience with value-based care models, specialty pharmacy, and emerging payment structures
• Strong network of relationships across pharmaceutical industry, payers, and provider organizations
• Advanced Excel skills for data manipulation and analysis
• Strong board-level presentation skills and executive presence
• Exceptional strategic thinking with ability to synthesize complex market dynamics
Preferred Qualifications
• Previous experience with oncology Pharmacy & Therapeutics (P&T) Committees, formulary decision-making, IDNs, payers, and/or healthcare providers
• Previous consulting experience with biopharmaceutical companies
• Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry publications
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Vision & Business Leadership
• Define and execute the long-term strategic vision for oncology market access research offerings
• Lead market expansion initiatives and identify new business opportunities in adjacent therapeutic areas
• Establish strategic partnerships with industry organizations, academic institutions, and technology providers
• Set industry standards through thought leadership and proprietary research methodologies
Executive Client Engagement & Business Development
• Serve as trusted advisor to pharmaceutical and biotech executives on critical market access decisions
• Drive new business development through executive networking, industry presence and strategic proposals
• Represent the organization as a key industry spokesperson at major conferences and advisory panels
Research Excellence & Innovation
• Champion development of proprietary research frameworks and analytical models that differentiate our offerings
• Ensure highest standards of research quality and methodological rigor across all client deliverables
• Drive innovation in research approaches, including advanced analytics, AI applications, and real-world evidence
• Maintain hands-on involvement in flagship research initiatives and complex client engagements when strategic value is highest
Daily Activities
Client Relationship Management (40% of time)
• Lead 4-6 client calls per week with C-suite pharmaceutical executives
• Develop strategic recommendations and action plans for clients
• Review and approve all client deliverables before submission
Strategic Leadership & Team Management (30% of time)
• Lead weekly team meetings and project status reviews
• Mentor and develop junior staff through 1:1s and project guidance
• Review and approve research methodologies and analytical approaches
• Set priorities and allocate resources across multiple projects
• Participate in executive leadership meetings and strategic planning
Business Development & Industry Leadership (20% of time)
• Attend industry conferences and networking events
• Develop new service offerings and research products
• Write thought leadership content and industry articles
Hands-on Research Contribution (10% of time)
• Review complex analytical outputs and provide senior-level insights
• Contribute to flagship report writing when strategic value is highest
