Athletic Ticket Staff
Oakland University Athletics has a need for athletic ticket staff to assist with and perform duties needed for ticketing athletic contests. Work may be intermittent throughout the year based on the schedule of events and staffing needs.
Ability To:
- Work effectively in a service oriented environment subject to frequently changing priorities.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationship with supervisors and other ticket workers.
- Work a flexible schedule including mornings, days, evenings, weekends, extended (long) work days and extended numbers of days in a row.
Job Functions:
- Provide operational support for Athletics Ticket Office.
- Serve in various support roles for athletic contests, including, but not limited to operating ticketmaster, selling tickets, scanning tickets, operating complimentary ticket list, ushering, etc.
- The essential functions of this position are performed indoors and outdoors in the weather conditions prevalent at the time. The noise level in the work environment can range from minimal to loud during events depending on the employee's location.
This person must be highly motivated, have great communication and customer service skills. This position may require long periods of standing. An athletic backgound is not required but preferred.
