Marketing Internship
Tangerine Salon is seeking a passionate and creative Marketing Intern to join our team for the fall semester. This is a fantastic opportunity for a student looking to gain hands-on experience in social media marketing and content creation within a small business environment.
Responsibilities:
- Create engaging and original content (photos, videos, stories, and reels) for our social media platforms, including Instagram and TikTok.
- Assist in enacting a content calendar to ensure a consistent and strategic posting schedule.
- Work with our stylists to capture behind-the-scenes content of hair transformations, styling tips, and salon humor.
- Stay up-to-date with current social media trends and implement new ideas to increase our online presence and engagement.
- Monitor social media accounts and engage with followers by responding to comments and messages.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a degree program related to marketing, communications, or a similar field.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, including Instagram and TikTok.
- Experience with content creation tools (e.g., Canva, video editing apps) is a plus.
- Excellent communication and creative skills with a keen eye for aesthetics.
- Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently.

- Expected commitment is approximately 15-20 hours per week.
