The Rockland County Department of Personnel announces the following upcoming Civil Service Exam:

Correction Officer for positions in the Rockland County Sheriff's Office.

Application Deadline: August 22, 2025.

There is no written multiple-choice test. This is an online examination questionnaire that asks questions about your education, training, and work experience. Approved candidates will be sent an email containing directions to a website to complete a training and experience questionnaire that must be submitted between September 1 and 11:59 p.m. on September 30, 2025.

The qualifying physical fitness test will be held on October 9, 2025.
