The Role
This role is responsible for assisting our Asset Manager with tasks including research, reporting, vendor coordination, and rent processing. The role will expose students to all facets of affordable housing management, providing invaluable real-world experience while helping MPI promote housing justice in the East Bay. This role will be in-person in Berkeley throughout the Fall and Spring.
The incumbent in this role must possess a high degree of professionalism and positive engagement with our residents and the workforce.

Qualifications:
- Equipped with excellent communication skills and an unmatched dedication to customer service.
- Superior interpersonal skills: ability to get along with diverse personalities; tactful; mature, flexible.
- Research skills
- Resourceful and organized.
- Solid computer knowledge, Windows (Word, Excel), internet, and e-mail
- Working knowledge of Yardi Property Management software is an advantage.
- Experience with housing, real estate, and property management preferred
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $21/hr
Schedule:
- 20 hours/week, flexible
