Kentucky Equine Management Internship

The Kentucky Equine Management Internship provides hands-on (grooming, feeding, stall cleaning, etc.)  paid internships for college students on Central Kentucky Thoroughbred farms.  Interns live and work on an area farm and attend weekly educational/networking events to explore career options and opportunities in horse management, breeding, sales & marketing and early training.  Most students can earn college credit for participating in an internship.  Our upcoming Spring 2026 internship (January 5-May 24) will focus on mares, foals, breeding and reproduction.  Applications are due by October 31, 2025 and can be found on our website:  www.kemi.org or by emailing us:  info@kemi.org.  Follow us on Instagram, X and Facebook!
