Communications and Administrative Coordinator
The Twin Cities Jewish Renewal Community (TCJRC) is seeking a capable, experienced, responsible, positive and collaborative marketing professional or college school intern to be our Communications and Administrative Coordinator. The Coordinator will have significant lived experience with the Jewish community and Judaism and ideally be interested to be involved in the Jewish Renewal movement.
TCJRC is open to providing compensation or if an intern with school approval, to receive academic credit.

We are a vibrant, welcoming, egalitarian Twin Cities Jewish community that embraces spiritual connection, heartfelt prayer, lively study, musical and artistic expression, movement, Tikkun Olam, social justice and other evolving approaches to connect our Judaism (from all Jewish sectors: Reform, Conservative, etc.) and The Source of Life. We are affiliated with ALEPH: The Alliance for Jewish Renewal, which is a trans-denominational, inclusive approach to revitalizing Judaism.
Position Description:
The Communications and Administrative Coordinator is responsible for assisting the TCJRC Volunteer Manager to support the Twin Cities Jewish Renewal Community members and prospects and coordinate with community partners. In general, the Coordinator will create and distribute marketing information concerning events through monthly newsletters, emails, social media, website content, etc. If local, the Coordinator will work on site at various Twin City TCJRC event locations to prepare and implement events.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Marketing: Design, develop and manage TCJRC’s social media identity and content
- Content Creation: Create written and visual content across several social media platforms with graphics, photos, videos, etc. for our website, flyers, Facebook, Instagram, etc.
- Social Media Engagement and Moderation: Build and moderate social media communities by posting to keep members and prospects engaged
- Newsletter Support: Provide assistance in compiling the monthly e-Newsletter, including research for local and national Jewish Renewal events to include them when preparing a newsletter or social media post.
- Event Registration: Prepare registration for onsite and/or Zoom events (prior registration, supplies, etc.) and help manage onsite the day of the event
- Analytics: Monitor key performance metric indicators (KPIs) of marketing campaigns
- Administrative Support: Provide assistance to TCJRC as needed.
Skills:
- Expertise in creating strong written and graphic content for social media and placing media into advantageous marketing platforms
- Tech- and aesthetic-savvy when creating materials
- Strong English writing, editing and proof-reading skills
- Excellent administrative, planning, problem-solving, collaborative and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively while demonstrating reliability, attention to detail and follow-through
- Knowledge and experience regarding Jewish holidays, customs and culture, and ideally, familiarity with common holiday or religious Hebrew terms
