Position Overview
The Project Coordinator will be responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing a range of programs and initiatives from conception to completion. Working closely with the Executive Director, this role will ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with the organization’s mission. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining clear communication with team members and partners.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate the planning and execution of community programs, workshops, and events.

Develop and maintain detailed project timelines, work plans, and task assignments.

Communicate with internal teams, volunteers, and external partners to ensure smooth project operations.

Track project budgets, expenses, and deliverables.

Prepare progress reports and project summaries for leadership and stakeholders.

Support grant and sponsorship reporting requirements by collecting relevant data and documentation.

Identify potential risks or challenges in project timelines and proactively suggest solutions.

Assist with outreach and marketing strategies to promote programs and initiatives.

Qualifications

Proven experience in project coordination, event planning, or program management (nonprofit experience is a plus).

Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and project management tools (e.g., Trello, Asana).

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
