What this looks like:
- Kick off new client projects by studying their building plans
- Communicate to clarify structural or dimensional requirements
- Draft the plans and precast product in CAD
- Work with engineers to design the right precast product to meet the client's needs and connect to the building structure
- Schedule production runs after client approval
- Sample and test wet concrete to meet technical standards
- Measure and check formwork before casting for compliance to approved drawings
- Complete product inspection to release shipment
This position is ideally suited for Civil Engineer majors with a strong interest in structural design. With a foundation in manufacturing and design, it is a great opportunity for recent graduates.
Completed coursework: physics, statics, materials with lab, design course utilizing AutoCAD, and reinforced concrete.
