About Us

Israel Tech Mission (ITM) is a fast-growing nonprofit that brings global business and tech executives, investors, and professionals on immersive leadership missions to Israel. We build lasting economic and emotional ties between Israel’s innovation ecosystem and global decision-makers. Our alumni community includes hundreds of influential leaders committed to supporting Israel through investment, advocacy, and action.

This will be our first full-time hire beyond the Executive Director, making it an exciting time to join—with the chance to shape the community, strategy, and systems from the ground up. We operate with the urgency and creativity of a startup and the heart and purpose of a mission-driven nonprofit.

About the Role

We’re looking for a relationship-driven, proactive, and entrepreneurial Partnerships & Community Manager to help activate, grow, and sustain our high-caliber global network of alumni, prospective participants, and supporters. The ideal candidate is comfortable managing multiple moving parts while delivering an exceptional participant and partner experience.

This is a multi-hat role at the intersection of community building, event management, marketing, and relationship strategy. You’ll be partnering with senior-level alumni, helping to steward relationships with leaders from some of the world’s most influential companies, and ensuring every touchpoint reflects professionalism and care.

A deep passion for Israel’s innovation ecosystem and its future is essential. This is not just an operational role — it’s an opportunity to connect global leaders to a cause that matters deeply. If you care about strengthening ties between Israel and the world and can channel that passion into exceptional execution, you’ll thrive here.

The role requires responsiveness, flexibility, and on-call availability, with occasional evenings and weekends during key moments. While this is not a traditional 9–5, there is flexibility to adjust your schedule (e.g., mid-day commitments) as long as work is delivered with excellence. Some days may be long and event-heavy, others lighter.

If you are mission-aligned, energized by building the plane while it’s flying, and committed to excellence under pressure, this is a launch pad opportunity with room to grow and renegotiate as we scale.

Key Responsibilities

Community Engagement & Partnerships

  • Build and execute strategies to deepen engagement with alumni and supporters across our global network.
  • Serve as a relationship “concierge,” helping leadership stay connected to the right people at the right times.
  • Track key relationships and ensure timely, high-touch communications with alumni, prospects, and champions.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of who’s who in our network — across sectors, geographies, and interests — and help connect them to relevant opportunities and moments.
  • Identify, cultivate, and secure new participants, sponsors, and donors for the mission.

Event & Program Management

  • Partner with alumni and leadership to design and implement virtual and in-person events that activate the community — including gatherings for alumni, prospective participants, and donors.
  • Manage logistics, communications, and follow-up for events to ensure a seamless and high-impact experience.
  • Help build systems and workflows to scale our event and program offerings.

Communications & Marketing

  • Oversee targeted outreach through digital campaigns, alumni networks, and partner organizations.
  • Collaborate on social media, email marketing, and alumni communications to promote upcoming missions and community events.
  • Contribute to the development of decks, one-pagers, and marketing collateral.
  • Coordinate pre- and post-mission communications that help deepen relationships and extend mission impact.

Systems & Infrastructure

  • Maintain CRM/database for tracking leads, outreach, and engagement.
  • Leverage platforms like Monday.com and Google Workspace to manage workflows and timelines.
  • Support internal tracking and reporting to inform leadership strategy.

Research & Lead Generation

  • Proactively research and identify relevant partners, tech sectors, and business networks to tap into for participant recruitment, sponsorship, and donor development.
  • Stay informed on trends in Israel’s innovation ecosystem and global investment landscape to inform outreach strategy.

You’re a Great Fit If You…

  • Have 3–5 years of experience in event planning, community engagement, marketing, account management, or customer success; however, candidates with a strong passion for Israel and the mission but more junior experience are encouraged to apply if they meet the key skills.
  • Are organized, detail-oriented, and client-facing—with the polish and professionalism to confidently engage founders, investors, and C-suite leaders.
  • Are a natural connector who enjoys identifying synergies and building relationships.
  • Have a proactive mindset and are energized by building trusted relationships over time.
  • Operate autonomously without waiting for constant direction and thrive in an unstructured, fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Can anticipate needs, solve problems proactively, and work with a strong sense of urgency.
  • Are a strong communicator, with great writing instincts and an eye for voice and tone.
  • Have experience using tools like Google Workspace, CRMs, Monday.com, Mailchimp, and/or similar platforms.
  • Are comfortable working flexible, sometimes unconventional hours when needed.
  • Are passionate about Israel and excited to help others connect with its innovation ecosystem.
  • Are mission-aligned and energized by helping to build a fast-growing initiative from the ground up.

What We Offer

  • A meaningful opportunity to support Israel through a global community of action-driven leaders.
  • Remote-first flexibility with a collaborative and supportive culture.
  • Competitive salary range of $70,000–$90,000, commensurate with experience.
  • Significant growth potential as the organization rapidly scales.
  • Please note: At present, the organization does not provide health insurance coverage as part of the employee compensation package. This may change in the future as the organization grows and additional resources become available. We value transparency and are open to discussion regarding health benefits during the hiring process.

Location

This is a remote-first role with a strong preference for candidates based in or near New York City. While most day-to-day work can be performed remotely, occasional in-person attendance at NYC-based events, meetings, and stakeholder engagements is expected. The ideal candidate will be available to attend local in-person gatherings as needed.
