Teaching Assistant, Electrical Engineering
Position Type: Federal Work Study or Non-Work Study
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Recording tutorial videos and holding office appointments, for example
- Multisim and Matlab class assignments and answering related questions.
- Design and implementation of laboratory assignments, including construction of midterm and final design projects (e.g., robot, op-amp/Motor control) utilizing analog circuits and electronic components.
- Students must be highly proficient in using National Instruments Multisim/Ulti-board software, as well as Matlab (with a relevant range of toolboxes).
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
- Junior, Senior, or Graduate student in Electrical Engineering with the majority of skills listed in the Job description.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact comfortably with students is required. 3D part printing and printed circuit board fabrication using department equipment.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- National Instruments Multisim and Ulti-board, Matlab and toolboxes, Analog circuits and basic
- Electronics.
- 3D part printing, and printed circuit board fabrication using department equipment.
Anticipated Schedule:
- Approximately 10 hours per week.
