Independent Insurance Agency Intern - Greater Eastern PA

“Working over the summer as an Insurance Agency Intern at one of our Independent Agencies in the Scranton, Philadelphia, and Allentown area you will:

  • Work with experienced small business owners assisting with office management, customer service, and agency revenue growth.
  • Develop and implement small business marketing programs.
  • Assist in small business to increase social media presence.
  • Work directly with clients to triage day-today insurance issues.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and with a team.
  • Ability to navigate online systems.
  • Good interpersonal skills, including the ability to make effective presentations.

Qualifications:

  • Pursuit of a bachelor’s degree with completion of freshman year majoring in Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • Candidates in their final year of undergraduate study or pursuing graduate studies should apply.
  • Special considerations may be given to individuals that hold a property and casualty insurance license. Such license is NOT required.
  • Basic knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets, and related software.
  • Pay and compensation is determined by Independent Insurance Agent
