Medical Receptionist and Radiology Technician

Neighborhood Family Clinics is seeking a compassionate and skilled professional to join our team in a dual role as a  Medical Receptionist and Radiology Technician in our Sparta clinic.  

NFC is looking for an enthusiastic individual who can seamlessly transition between administrative and clinical  responsibilities. This multifaceted role requires strong communication skills, a patient-centered approach, and the ability  to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment. 

Medical Receptionist Duties: 

• Greet and register patients, ensuring a welcoming and efficient check-in process. 

• Answer phones, schedule appointments (including X-ray appointments), and manage patient flow. • Obtain or verify patient information and ensure accuracy and completion of necessary documentation. • Create bills for self-paying patients and collect payments. 

• Maintain electronic health records and ensure patient confidentiality. 

• Handle patient inquiries and concerns, demonstrating empathy and professionalism. 

• Perform clerical duties as requested to support the smooth operation of the clinic. 

Radiology Technician duties: 

• Perform diagnostic X-ray procedures as ordered by providers. 

• Ensure proper positioning and utilize radiation safety protocols to protect both patients and staff. • Operate and maintain diagnostic X-ray equipment. 

• Document X-ray procedures and related patient information in the electronic medical record. • Adhere to all regulatory standards and ensure equipment is in proper working order. 

• Complete an accredited program, pass the ARRT exam, and secure state licensure. 

Full-time option: 32-40 hours per week.  

Starting wages are based on experience.

• Morning shift / Afternoon shift / Evening shift  (we close at 6p.m. and are only open on Saturday at our LaCrosse clinic currently)-no weekends!
