Position:  Two-Way Immersion Kindergarten Teacher (Spanish)

Reports to: Building Principal or Designee

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Education and a valid Michigan Teaching Certificate as required by MDE; OR

Bachelor’s Degree and enrollment in a state-approved program leading to teacher certification as required by MDE.

Criminal History background check

Preferred: 

Previous classroom teaching experience in a comparable district.

Bilingual endorsement (YF)

Salary/Benefits:

Commensurate with credentials and level of experience and in accordance with MPS salary schedule.  Starting salary range $51,814.00 - $75,437.00

Paid time off includes ten (10) sick leave days, three (3) personal days, and two (2) professional improvement days.
