Position:  Tier I Classroom PBIS (Positive Behavior Intervention and Support) Coach K-12 

 

Classification: MCTEA                                                                    

Location:  Building to be determined                                                  

Reports to: Director of Curriculum and Instruction or Designee

Deadline to Apply: 

                                    Internal Deadline: August 15, 2025

                                    External Deadline: August 20, 2025

Position Available:  2025/2026 Academic Year

 

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or experience in Education, Psychology, or a related field 

Valid Michigan Teacher Certificate

3-5 years’ experience as a classroom teacher

Preferred: 

Experience in PBIS/MTSS implementation within a school or district setting.

Strong knowledge of classroom management strategies and social-emotional learning frameworks.

Excellent communication, collaboration, and coaching skills.

Ability to lead professional development sessions and provide ongoing support to school staff.

Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse school communities.

Salary/Benefits:

Salary Range: $51,814-$75,437. Fulltime with benefits.
