
Account Executive

We're looking for a team-oriented Account Executive with a strong work ethic who can open doors to new strategic target customers. The ideal candidate is highly independent, has a 'can-do' attitude, thrives in a fast-paced team environment, wants to grow into more responsibility, and is influential in developing leads that turn into sales.
This is a critically important role within our company! The AE is typically the main point of contact with customers. This key and integral role directly impacts the ongoing success of Green Flag Metals and provides career development and opportunities within the company. A team of experienced teammates, a coach, and others that want to see you succeed will be working side by side with you as you develop. The opportunity to earn is equal to performance achievement.
Responsibilities:
· Sell steel. Work with internal Support Staff to service the customers’ needs. But sell steel!
· Prospect, qualify, and sell customers within a defined list of strategic targets
· Ability to leverage various sales and lead generation tools, templates, and resources
· Develop prospects through direct telephone selling and email communications
· Work to penetrate new target accounts, identify potential customers, qualify and schedule in depth supply development conversations
· Master your craft by staying informed about steel products, available processing, and other general information of interest to customers through coaching, mentoring, and self-study
· Understand, manage, and communicate about customer and prospect business opportunities, current conditions, future prospects, active measurements, and competitive issues
· Own your role by displaying time-management skills, self-discipline, and focus to effectively manage an intense, high-volume business
· Achieve or exceed daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly goals and production levels

· Demonstrated ability to exceed expectations
· Blend of strategic thinking and tactical implementation
· Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally within a team-oriented environment
· Strong computer, written and interpersonal communications skills
· Ability to multitask, organize, and prioritize work requirements
· BA/BS degree encouraged but not required

Benefits: Green Flag Metals has a four-pronged compensation package.
· Starting salary at $48,000
· Bonus structure that should result in $35,000-$50,000 in additional compensation
