Social Media and Sales Associate

About Us:
Broward Design Center has been a South Florida destination for one-of-a-kind, handcrafted furniture for over 25 years. We import unique pieces from India and Indonesia, including teak, suar, stone, and other exotic materials. Our team is more than coworkers — we’re family — and we’re looking for someone who wants to grow with us.

Position Overview:
We’re looking for a high-energy, creative individual who can manage our social media presence while also greeting and engaging with customers in our store. You do not need sales experience — just the personality and enthusiasm to connect with people and make them feel welcome. This is a hybrid role where you’ll split your time between social media content creation and in-store customer interaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Create engaging photo and video content for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and other platforms

Post regularly and respond to comments/messages to increase engagement

Greet every customer with energy and enthusiasm, making them feel welcome

Learn about our products so you can answer basic customer questions

Assist with light in-store merchandising and keeping displays camera-ready

Capture and edit content that highlights new arrivals, promotions, and in-store events

Support in-person sales by connecting customers with our sales team

Occasionally assist with uploading products to Shopify

Qualifications:

Outgoing, friendly, and comfortable talking to strangers

Creative eye for photography and social media trends

Basic knowledge of Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook posting

Ability to work weekends and some holidays

No prior sales experience required — we’ll train you

Comfortable using a smartphone for shooting and editing content

A plus (but not required): experience with Canva, CapCut, or similar tools

Pay: $16 hour + Commission
