Counselor

Healing Private Wounds is a non-profit, caring community that provides sexual abuse recovery, mental health services, and prevention education at no cost to men, women, teens, and children. We offer a variety of programming, including individual counseling, sexual abuse recovery groups, a women's empowerment group, a DBT-informed skills group, an anger management group, and a variety of groups focusing on Boundaries, Self-Esteem, Parenting, and Seeking Safety. We also offer a Jail Ministry twice a week for women, Prevention education in local schools, and a weekly Bible Study. We are partnered with Healing Roots, our home-visiting parenting program for families with children, aged prenatal through kindergarten enrollment.

We are now offering supervision for LLPCs, Counseling interns, and Practicum in-house only.
