Marketing Graphics Designer

We are currently seeking a full-time Marketing Graphics Designer to join our dynamic Marketing team. 
 

Pay Range

  • Our ideal candidate will make $52,312.50 to $55,218.75 for this role.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree or completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school with a focus on graphic design or commensurate professional experience

Experience

  • One to two years of demonstrated experience executing advertising and/or marketing responsibilities, including conception, creation, production and fulfillment of original collateral and campaigns; direct vendor management.
  • Two or more years of strong working knowledge with Adobe Creative Cloud - InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator (cross-platform-PC based).
  • Two or more years of using creative/graphic design tools, and executing related processes, such as creation or reformatting of graphics for print and digital media.
  • Two or more years of demonstrated working knowledge of creation/production process of print and digital collateral/creative (e.g., newsletters, graphics, posters, banners, brochures, flyers, postcards, etc.).
  • One to two years working in a similar or related role; financial institution work experience preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and manage creative aspects (print and digital) of campaigns, end-to-end, to successful completion and report results, as directed.
  • Collaborate in managing marketing campaigns and collateral inventory (fee schedules, flyers, etc.); and branch decals/merchandising (e.g., banners and signs). Follow industry trends and best practices and suggest changes to improve competitive position and support Credit Union goals.
  • As appropriate, work independently or with other department staff, conceptualize and create layouts and text for print and electronic media, including newsletters, sales support materials (FAQs, product summaries, etc.), emails, marketing collateral/media (e.g., ads, banners, campaigns, letters, social media and other member communications) to maximize product/service utilization, add new accounts and retain existing accounts.
  • Manage relationships with internal clients and outside agencies/vendors, as assigned, in a professional and error-proof manner (e.g., placing orders for creative images, properly measured creative, determining visibility of creative before printing/mailing, etc.).
  • Assist in the creation of original written copy and relevant layouts for print and electronic media, including print/web newsletters, press releases, blogs, marketing collateral, ads, banners, , campaigns, letters, social media and other member communications to maximize product/service utilization, generate new accounts (or fans) and retain existing accounts.
