Sales Associate – Health & Wellness Enthusiast

Location: Talleyville (North Wilmington) DE
Starting Pay: $16–$20/hr + Uncapped Commission

About the Role
We’re looking for an energetic, outgoing, and sales-focused team member to join our growing SweatHouz community. If you love connecting with people, talking about fitness and wellness, and can sell with confidence and heart, this is the role for you.

As a Sales Associate, you will be the first point of contact for potential members. You’ll play a key role in driving studio revenue by converting walk-ins, calls, and leads into memberships and retail sales. Your ability to build trust quickly, educate guests on the benefits of our services, and close the sale will directly impact the studio’s growth and your earning potential.

What You’ll Do:

Drive sales of memberships, retail products, and services by engaging every guest with energy and enthusiasm

Build strong relationships with guests, turning first-time visitors into loyal members

Educate potential clients on the benefits of infrared sauna, cold plunge, and vitamin C showers

Hit (and exceed!) monthly membership and product sales goals

Follow up on leads, respond quickly to inquiries, and manage CRM entries

Keep the studio vibe welcoming, upbeat, and wellness-focused

Represent the SweatHouz brand with professionalism, passion, and positivity

What You Bring:

Sales-first mindset – you thrive on closing deals and meeting targets

Outgoing and confident with a natural ability to start conversations

Genuine interest in health, fitness, and wellness

Experience in a retail, fitness, or hospitality sales role (preferred but not required)

Strong communicator and team player with great energy

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, client-facing environment

Availability for evenings and weekends as needed

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Guest (Intro) Experience and New Membership Enrollment (40% of role)

  • Executes the relationship-based sales model with each intro and passionately relates how SWTHZ products/services will satisfy their needs and goals.
  • Tours potential members through the studio and describes the facilities, services and amenities that directly tie back to the intro's individual needs and goals. Communicates membership options in a clear and concise manner.
  • Effectively and professionally enrolls guests using company sales techniques and protocol.
  • On-boards new members successfully and assists with all member retention activities to drive club profitability
  • Consistently achieves or exceeds personal and team sales goals

Prospecting and Lead Generation (40% of role)

  • Responsible for effectively setting appointments for all leads and potential new business opportunities.
  • Manages and follows up on leads/new business in CRM system
  • Executes daily plan for successful lead management and selling activities. Consistently achieve or exceed personal productivity goals.

Client Experience (20% of role)

  • Partners with Studio Manager to provide a best-in-class, member-centric experience that strengthens member relationships and builds member retention.
  • Ensures members receive a friendly greeting/check-in and prompt attention to their needs.
  • Maintains name relationships with members and serves as a resource for their questions or concerns.
  • Provides a clean, friendly, well-maintained studio to members and guests.

Qualifications

  • 1+ years in sales
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Experience with membership sales is a significant advantage
