We are hiring for a duo! If you know someone who would be excellent in the Customer Success role and you would love to work with, apply with them!

Location: Remotely in California with travel for Skillify conferences, or in-person in our Las Vegas, NV office with travel for Skillify conferences

Start Date: September 2025

Why This Role Exists Every Skillify program is a spark—a moment where high school students see their future differently. As our Partnerships & Events Lead, you’ll be the bridge between those sparks and long-term partnerships. You’ll start by leading workshops to deeply understand our program, then move into building relationships with schools, closing new partnerships, and representing Skillify at education events across the state.

This role is ideal for an energetic, relationship-driven recent graduate—especially former student leaders, college athletes, or those with sales, events, or public speaking experience—who’s hungry to learn, open to travel, and ready to grow quickly into a leadership role.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead engaging in-person conferences (6–8 hour workshops) on career skills like networking, resumes, and self-advocacy.
  • Represent Skillify at education conferences and networking events to generate leads.
  • Build and maintain strong school relationships, from first conversation to signed contract to program implementation.
  • Collaborate closely with Student Success to ensure a seamless handoff from new partner to program delivery.

This Role is For You If:

  • You’re electric on stage, and people remember how you make them feel
  • You’re equally confident and high integrity in one-on-one conversations
  • You’ve led teams, captained a sport, run student orgs, or driven results in a competitive environment
  • You thrive on travel, variety, and fast-paced, high-impact work
  • You’re organized, follow through on commitments, and love setting (and hitting) ambitious goals
  • You’re driven by mission—you want your work to change lives

Nice-to-Have:

  • Former student body president, fraternity/sorority leader, club founder, or team captain
  • Experience in sales, outreach, or customer-facing roles (internships count)
  • Background in public speaking, presenting, or hosting events (school projects, campus tours, club events)
  • Experience in education, youth programs, or mentorship
  • Comfortable traveling frequently (3-4x/month)
  • Willingness to relocate to Las Vegas to work in-office for at least first 3 months

Compensation:

  • Base Salary + Performance Bonus: Earn a revenue-based bonus for every new school you bring on board in your first year, tied directly to the impact you create
  • On-Target Earnings (OTE): ~$100,000+ in your first year if target goals met (e.g., ~13 new school partnerships)
  • Paid travel, professional development, and rapid career growth
