Analyst
Job Summary: The analyst will collaborate closely with the IAG investment team – researching sectors, deal prospecting, performing due diligence, and portfolio monitoring. The analyst will have opportunities to be an outward-facing ambassador for IAG that will support the firm’s existing relationships across North America, Europe and Asia and form new relationships with entrepreneurs and industry practitioners. This is a rare opportunity for a person early in their career to work closely with senior investors and directly contribute to outcomes.
Required Experience: Four-year undergraduate degree with an outstanding academic record.

Job Duties:
Market and investment analysis
- Conduct market sizing, financial analysis and quantitative modeling
- Identify and track technology and industry trends and market developments
- Support and expand the investment pipeline, including identifying and sourcing new deals
Transaction execution, including due diligence, research, and communication
- Assist and/or coordinate the diligence process (initial interview, references, documents)
- Draft investment memos clearly articulating why an investment should/should not be made, along with other research presentations and memoranda
Portfolio company support
- Meet with portfolio teams
- Fully understand portfolio companies, the markets in which they operate and how IAG can support their efforts
- Connect portfolio companies with appropriate resources (mentors, investors, service providers, partners)
Other
- Coordinate meetings with accelerators, incubators, VCs and other startup ecosystem players
- Maintain critical data sets and files, such as portfolio documents
Job Type: Full-time
Location: Charleston, South Carolina. We are in the office 3-5 days/week, working remote or traveling on other days.
Schedule: Monday to Friday, weekend as needed, US - ET working hours.
