Executive Assistant to the CEO

Position:  Executive Assistant to the CEO

Location:  Boston (On-Site, Full Time)

Start:  Immediate

Hours: Full-Time (7:00am to 4:00pm)

Compensation: $75,000 - $115,000 + annual bonus (commensurate with experience) 

Description:  We are seeking an Executive Assistant whose primary role will be to support the CEO of a boutique investment bank. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the CEO’s personal tasks and projects
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the CEO, ensuring smooth communication and efficient workflow
  • Manage complex calendars, including scheduling internal and external meetings, coordinating professional and personal travel arrangements, and handling expense reports
  • Perform email dictation, demonstrating the ability to consistently produce error-free work
  • Draft, edit, and manage professional correspondence and administrative tasks, including emails, letters, and reports
  • Act as a gatekeeper by effectively managing incoming requests and prioritizing tasks
  • Handle sensitive and confidential information with the utmost discretion and professionalism
  • Anticipate the CEO's needs and proactively address potential issues

Requirements:

  • Strong work ethic and personal integrity
  • Typing speed of 80+ WPM
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Self-motivated with strong communication skills
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage multiple projects
  • Technologically savvy and proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Positive and professional demeanor with a sense of humor

Experience:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience required. Prior administrative experience (1–2 years minimum) is strongly preferred, ideally within the finance industry. Open to both early-career and seasoned professionals who are detail-oriented and motivated to contribute in a fast-paced environment.
