Design Center Coordinator

Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Design Center Coordinator to oversee our operations and drive success in our center. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in interior design, sales, and project management, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences. As the Design Center Coordinator, you will be responsible for implementing a cataloging approach that showcases our design selection options, facilitating vendor relationships, managing projects from conception to completion, and ensuring the highest standards of service and quality.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage daily operations of the center to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve sales targets and enhance customer satisfaction.
Oversee project management activities including planning, execution, and monitoring of design projects.
Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored design solutions for their space.
Utilize software tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Revit, AutoCAD, and Bluebeam for design presentations and project documentation.
Manage inventory levels of materials and supplies needed for projects.
Train, mentor, and motivate staff to achieve personal and professional growth.
Maintain relationships with vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure quality service delivery.
Conduct regular assessments of center performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
Qualifications
Proven experience in interior design or remodeling with a strong portfolio showcasing previous work.
Demonstrated sales experience with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
Proficiency in design software including Adobe Creative Suite, Revit, AutoCAD, and Bluebeam.
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and team members.
Knowledge of lighting design and sales is a plus.
A degree in Interior Design or related field is preferred but not required.
Must be flexible and willing to work evenings and weekends
