About the Role
We’re looking for a proactive, detail-oriented Instagram Outreach Assistant (Intern) to help us connect with ideal partners through Instagram DMs. You’ll be manually identifying potential partners, evaluating their profiles based on clear criteria, and sending personalized outreach messages.
This is a remote, flexible internship perfect for someone who understands how the Instagram algorithm and search works, loves discovering new creators, and wants to gain hands-on marketing experience with a fast-moving startup.
What You’ll Do
- Search Instagram using hashtags and keywords to find potential partners (we’ll give you a guide)
- Review profiles using our Partner Screening Checklist
- Send customized DMs using our message templates
- Report weekly metrics (e.g. how many people were messaged, how many responded)
Requirements
- Familiarity with Instagram (you know how to spot real, quality creators)
- Strong attention to detail — you're organized and thorough
- Clear written communication skills
- Able to follow a structured process and document your work
- Bonus: interest in marketing, creator economy, or business tools
Time Commitment
- 5–10 hours per week
- Flexible schedule — work in 20–30 min blocks, three times a day
- Ideal for students, junior marketers, or freelancers seeking part-time hours

- Follower count is at least 100, ideally more.
- Follower-to-following ratio looks healthy (e.g., they aren’t following 5,000 people with only 1,000 followers)

When reviewing an Instagram profile, ask yourself:
- Do they mention working with clients or running programs?
- Are they focused on growth, lead magnets, or education?
- Would a quiz help them capture or qualify leads?
- Do they have authority/influence to recommend tools?

- A software company or tech startup
- A Fortune 2000 or large global corporation
- A large enterprise with thousands of employees
- A pure B2B SaaS company that doesn’t market to small businesses
- Recent posts are from months ago (inactive account)
