Financial Planning & Analysis Intern

Summary:

As an FP&A Intern at Cosm, you’ll gain hands-on experience in financial forecasting, reporting, and performance analysis across our Los Angeles and Dallas venues. You’ll work side-by-side with the FP&A Manager and cross-functional teams, contributing to business updates, event analyses, and operational efficiency projects.

This role is ideal for a driven individual who wants to explore how financial insights can guide real-world decision making. Come ready to learn, analyze, and innovate!

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparing monthly financial forecasts and variance analyses for Cosm venues.
  • Support KPI tracking and daily performance reporting for events.
  • Analyze labor data to help optimize staffing levels.
  • Work with venue teams to research operating expenses and contribute to cost center reviews.
  • Participate in refining financial reporting packages for executive stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Accounting on reconciliations and monthly accruals.
  • Conduct ad hoc analysis and research to support strategic decisions.

Qualifications:

  • Junior or Senior at the start of the program
  • Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
  • Available to work in a Cosm Office (hybrid)
  • Available to work 20 hours per week during the defined Intern period
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Interest in Real-world exposure to FP&A in a dynamic venue-based business
