The Position
MiddleGround is targeting part-time interns to work on collaborative team-specific projects, as well as broader exposure within the firm. As an Accounting Intern, you will assist the Management Company Accounting team and complete a final project outlined at the beginning of your internship, with a presentation at the end of the term.

You may gain exposure to areas such as balance sheet reconciliations, vendor invoice tracking, and support for monthly close processes. This internship is a great fit for a student studying accounting or finance who wants to explore the field in a real-world private equity environment.

Requirements

  • Student currently enrolled in a relevant Bachelor's or advanced degree program (Accounting or Finance preferred)
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite; previous experience with Excel or exposure to accounting platforms is a plus
  • Naturally curious and unafraid to ask questions
  • Able to work independently and cross-collaboratively with other teams
