ServiceNow Developer / Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and certified ServiceNow Developer/Engineer with 4–5 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining ServiceNow solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge of the ServiceNow platform and its modules, along with a ServiceNow certification and experience working in an enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, configure, and customize ServiceNow applications and services.

Develop workflows, scripts, business rules, and integrations to meet business needs.

Work on ServiceNow modules such as Incident Management, Change Management, Problem Management, CMDB, ITSM, ITOM, or HRSD based on project requirements.

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the ServiceNow platform.

Ensure compliance with coding standards and maintain proper documentation.

Perform upgrades and patches, and optimize performance of the ServiceNow platform.

Provide support for ServiceNow-related issues and enhancements.

 

Required Skills & Qualifications:

4–5 years of hands-on experience working with the ServiceNow platform.

ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) is mandatory; additional certifications like Certified Application Developer (CAD) or ITSM Implementation Specialist are a plus.

Proficiency in JavaScript, REST/SOAP APIs, JSON, and scripting within ServiceNow.

Strong understanding of ITSM and ITIL frameworks.

Experience with ServiceNow integrations and third-party tools.

Ability to analyze complex business requirements and deliver effective ServiceNow solutions.

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working in Agile or ITIL environments.

Exposure to other modules such as SecOps, GRC, or ITBM is an advantage.

Familiarity with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines.
