Licensed Counselor or Social Worker
Overview
We are seeking compassionate, motivated, and clinically driven Licensed Counselors to join our growing behavioral health practice. This role is ideal for fully licensed professionals (LPC, LISW-CP, LMFT) as well as those in associate/intern status actively working toward full licensure with the South Carolina Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation (SCLLR).
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations to assess clients' mental health needs.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and client goals.
- Provide clinical counseling and therapy using evidence-based practices, including behavioral therapy.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and support for clients.
- Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Educate clients and families about mental health issues, treatment options, and coping strategies.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in behavioral health/supervision (if applicable).
- Minimal 15 hours/sessions per week.
Qualifications
- Active South Carolina license (LPC, LISW-CP, LMFT) or associate/intern license approved by SCLLR.
- Experience in outpatient counseling, mental health settings, or patient care is preferred.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and clinical documentation best practices.
- Strong communication skills (both verbal and written).
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a supportive, team-based environment.

Job Type: Contract
Pay: $35.23 - $96.93 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 15 per week
