Bronson LakeView Hospital is seeking an experienced and compassionate nursing leader to join our team as Manager of Nursing – Surgery. In this role, you'll oversee daily operations for the Operating Room, PACU, Pre/Post-Op, and Sterilization & Reprocessing departments. Lead with purpose while helping shape exceptional patient care in a community-focused setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and strategic direction for surgical nursing departments
  • Lead and mentor a skilled team across perioperative services
  • Ensure high standards for quality, safety, and patient satisfaction
  • Oversee department budgeting, staffing, and policy implementation
  • Support shared governance and professional development
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) required
  • Master’s degree in Nursing, Health Administration, or MBA preferred
  • Active Michigan RN license
  • BLS certification
  • 3–5 years of progressive nursing leadership required
  • 3–5 years of surgical services experience preferred
  • Strong clinical knowledge, leadership, and communication skills
  • Proficiency in EMR systems and data analysis
