Entry Level Geotechnical Staff Engineer
Job Description: AGW is a consulting engineering firm specializing in geotechnical engineering, construction materials testing and observation, and environmental services. For over 50 years, AGW has provided high quality geotechnical engineering services in the Denver and Front Range areas of Colorado. We are a trusted and reliable partner providing solutions to our clients’ development and construction needs. We are looking for highly motivated civil engineers for our Entry Level Geotechnical Staff Engineer position.
Duties include construction observation and materials testing, site visits during development and construction, logging and classification of soils, reviewing field and office reports, performing soil investigations, laboratory testing/evaluating lab results, and providing foundation recommendations for design.
Education: Recent graduates who have a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (ABET Accredited University) and who have passed the Fundamentals of Engineering Exam (Preferred but not required).
Required Skills: Entry level up to 2 years of local experience with a geotechnical engineering firm performing work along the Front Range of Colorado. Candidate must have great attitude and work ethic, excellent verbal and written communication skills, organizational skills, clean driving record, must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and physical and a strong desire to help make our firm grow!
