Management Development Training Program

ABOUT THE PROGRAM

Keene Inc.’s Leadership Development Training Program (LDTP) is a rotational, full-time opportunity designed for college graduates who aspire to grow into key leadership roles. Launching in October 2025, the program lasts 3-4 months and provides hands-on experience in manufacturing, engineering, finance, marketing, and logistics. After successful completion of the program, participants will transition into a full-time role that aligns with their field of study, skills, and accomplishments. Placement opportunities are available across a variety of functions, including (but not limited to): Financial Analyst, Plant Controller, Mechanical or Industrial Engineer, Logistics or Purchasing Specialist, Research & Product Development, Project Management, Materials Management, Field Technical Specialist, and Sales.

Participants will:

  • Learn each of Keene’s business operations from the ground up.
  • Rotate through multiple departments aligned with their core discipline and cross-functional interests
  • Engage in business-critical projects, leadership coaching, and professional development sessions
  • Gain exposure to Keene Inc.’s manufacturing operations, strategic initiatives, and corporate culture

Program Features:

  • Mentorship: Each trainee is paired with a mid-level manager who provides personalized coaching and career guidance throughout the program.
  • Executive Roundtables: Bi-weekly informal meetings with senior leadership offer direct insight into company strategy, operations, and leadership philosophy.
  • Weekly Reflection Reports: Trainees submit brief weekly reports to reflect on key learnings, challenges, and personal development progress.
  • The program concludes with a capstone project that allows participants to showcase what they’ve learned and the impact they've made. Those who successfully complete the program are ofered a permanent position in a leadership-track role—an exciting next step in their career at Keene Inc.

IDEAL CANDIDATES

  • We’re seeking motivated, ambitious, early-career professionals with a passion for leadership and innovation.
  • Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree completed by Summer 2025 in one of the following:
  • Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, etc.) Finance, Accounting, Marketing, Communications, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Operations, Industrial or Operations Management
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above
  • Previous Co-Op/Internship or other practical experience in a related field of study
  • Willingness to relocate during the program and throughout your career
  • Flexibility to work extended hours or of-shifts as needed
  • Sponsorship for work visas is not available for this program 

Knowledge & Skills

  • Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills; able to make data-driven decisions
  • Eagerness to navigate ambiguity and demonstrate professional maturity
  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Proven ability to prioritize workload, manage projects, multitask, and meet deadlines
  • Efective problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Comfortable working with employees at all levels of the organization
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus
  • Strong presentation and training capabilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Ofice (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access)

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

The approximate pay range for this position is $55,000 to $70,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a reasonable estimate for the position. Final compensation may vary based on several factors including but not limited to: knowledge, skill, abilities and discipline of study.
