CMMS Coordinator (Computerized Maintenance Management System)
Key Responsibilities:
CMMS Administration:
- Oversee the day-to-day administration and maintenance of the CMMS software.
- Configure and customize the CMMS system to meet the organization's specific maintenance needs and requirements.
- Ensure data integrity by regularly reviewing and updating the CMMS database, including assets, equipment, and maintenance procedures.
- Collaborate with IT department or external vendors to address system upgrades, integrations, and troubleshooting.
Work Order Management:
Manage the work order process within the CMMS system, including the creation, assignment, tracking, and completion of work orders.
- Ensure work orders are accurately entered, prioritized, and assigned to appropriate personnel or contractors.
- Monitor work order progress, update statuses, and communicate with stakeholders to ensure timely resolution and proper documentation.
- Generate reports and analysis of work order data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and performance metrics.
Asset Management:
- Manage the organization's asset database within the CMMS system.
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date information on equipment, including specifications, maintenance history, and warranty details.
- Collaborate with maintenance teams to develop asset hierarchy and criticality rankings for effective asset management.
- Utilize the CMMS system to track asset performance, monitor lifecycle costs, and plan for asset replacements or upgrades.
Inventory Control:
- Oversee inventory control processes within the CMMS system, including tracking and managing spare parts, materials, and supplies.
- Collaborate with procurement and maintenance teams to establish optimal inventory levels, reorder points, and replenishment strategies.
- Generate inventory reports, analyze usage patterns, and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
- Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and reconcile any discrepancies.
User Training and Support:
- Provide training and support to CMMS users, including maintenance staff, supervisors, and other relevant personnel.
- Develop training materials, user guides, and documentation to assist users in understanding and effectively utilizing the CMMS system.
- Address user inquiries, troubleshoot system issues, and provide technical assistance to ensure smooth operation and user satisfaction.
- Maintain a safe working environment and adhere to all applicable safety regulations and protocols.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as Engineering and Operations, to ensure effective communication and alignment of maintenance activities with overall organizational goals.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or management.
Qualifications:
- 1 plus year of industrial maintenance experience.
- Knowledge of facility systems.
- Experience with Maximo CMMS platform.
- Technical Certification or associate degree in Industrial Maintenance, Industrial Engineering, or another related field (Preferred)
- EPA Universal (Preferred)
