Clinical Mental Health Counselor
Position Overview:
Mental Health Counselor for in-person position with an opportunity for teletherapy as needed. As a therapist at RCPT, you will provide therapy services to clients from a wide diverse population facing anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and other mental health challenges. Ideal candidates will bring their own therapeutic style and specialties to enrich our diverse, client-centered practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide IN person individual, couples, family, or child/adolescent therapy based on your licensure, training/scope of practice, and needs of the client
- Implement psychotherapy techniques tailored to each client's unique situation
- Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation in compliance with ethical, legal, and insurance standards
- Conduct intakes, assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with the practice owner and other clinicians as needed
Qualifications:
- Active Michigan License as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Limited Licensed
- Counselor (LLC/LLPC), Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW).
- Master's Degree in Counseling, Psychology, or Social Work
- Experience providing therapy to children, adolescents or adults
- Offer trauma-informed care and evidence based clinical techniques
- Skilled in assessment, client communication, and treatment planning
- Strong ability to integrate Christian faith-based approaches with best practices of
psychotherapy upon request of the client - Willingness to learn and continue developing their skills
- Desire to be a part of a growing, positive, team environment
- EMDR or Brainspotting certified is desired or willingness to train
