About Us
Breast Cancer Hawaii is a grassroots nonprofit dedicated to supporting breast cancer patients, survivors, and their loved ones across the islands. We're proud to launch a new initiative focused on improving survivorship for Native Hawaiian cancer patients—and we’re looking for a motivated student to help lead the way.

This is an excellent opportunity for a college student majoring in business who’s passionate about community-building, health equity, and developing real-world skills in program design, outreach, and relationship management.

What You’ll Be Doing
As the Native Hawaiian Survivorship Program Coordinator, you’ll play a vital role in co-developing and supporting a culturally grounded program. Responsibilities include:

• Building relationships with community partners and local organizations
• Helping form a Native Hawaiian Advisory Board
• Assisting with the creation and distribution of needs assessment surveys
• Helping co-design programs that support quality of life for Native Hawaiian survivors
• Supporting outreach, scheduling, communications, and logistics for gatherings or events
• Documenting feedback and contributing to project planning and reporting

Logistics & Requirements

• Must reside on Oʻahu or Hawaiʻi Island
• Must have access to reliable transportation
• Comfortable with occasional travel between islands (travel costs covered)
• Able to work 10–15 hours per week
• Flexible schedule – work can be done remotely and outside of business hours
• Occasional weekend or evening availability for meetings or events
