Responsibilities:

  • Develop leads, schedule appointments, and identify customer needs
  • Market appropriate insurance and financial products and services
  • Establish and maintain customer relationships with timely follow-up
  • Collaborate with agents to set and meet marketing goals
  • Demonstrate a strong work ethic and commitment to success daily

Compensation:

  • Base salary of $40,000 plus monthly commissions and bonuses (typically $15,000 - $60,000 annually)
  • Signing and licensing bonuses
  • Health insurance allowance and group health plan

Requirements:

  • Interest in marketing products and services tailored to customer needs
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written, and listening communication skills
  • Enthusiasm for how insurance and financial products help people manage risk, recover from unexpected events, and achieve their dreams
  • Ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment

Additional Information:
This position is with an independent State Farm contractor agent—not directly with State Farm Insurance Companies. Employees must successfully complete all applicable licensing requirements and training programs. State Farm agents are independent contractors who hire their own staff; therefore, employees of agents are not employees of State Farm.
