Corporate Marketing and Communications Intern
Description
The Corporate Marketing department in Rain Bird Corporation’s Tucson office is seeking a forward-thinking intern with strong interest in and/or understanding of marketing and communications, including various social media platforms, marketing campaigns, market research, and graphic software. This is an in-person position based in Tucson, Arizona. Rain Bird is currently revising its marketing and communications strategy, including a social media content strategy, website redesign, and internal communications. The intern hired for this position will need strong critical thinking and creativity skills as well as the ability and/or interest to learn how to write various marketing materials, conduct basic market research (under direction), develop marketing campaigns, and produce simple flyers, ads, and e-newsletters as needed.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to and monitor Rain Bird social media presences
- Draft press releases, news announcements, web stories, and other public relations materials
- Produce simple ads, flyers, and e-newsletters
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
Interns will work a minimum of 10 hours a week in an in-person office setting in Tucson.
