AFSP Research Grants Externship

The research extern program provides a research-oriented opportunity for students interested in the field of mental health and suicide prevention.

Externs will work in person as a member of the Research Department at the National Office in New York City and will receive supervision in daily tasks. Main responsibilities will include research grant management, literature reviews, preparation of summaries on research findings, work with grant data, and publication tracking.

This research program is for class credit with a monthly travel & food stipend. Flexible hours are available.
