About the Role
Few possess the technical acumen and strategic insight required to become a Cryptologic Warfare Officer in the U.S. Navy. As a leader in the Navy’s Information Warfare Community, you will create warfighting options for Fleet Commanders, provide critical counsel to senior decision-makers, and shape operations in the dynamic realm of cyberspace.
You will operate at the forefront of digital defense, cyber operations, and electromagnetic maneuver warfare—defending national interests and ensuring information superiority across the globe.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute offensive and defensive cyberspace operations
- Develop and deploy innovative cryptologic and cyber solutions
- Analyze foreign signals and electronic warfare capabilities
- Provide real-time tactical support to naval forces during missions
- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior military and government leaders
- Operate within joint, interagency, and multinational environments
Qualifications
- U.S. citizen
- Bachelor’s degree or higher (technical fields preferred: computer science, cybersecurity, engineering, mathematics, etc.)
- Eligible for a Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) security clearance
- Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills
- Must meet Navy commissioning requirements
