The NBCUniversal News Group Legal department is seeking a recent law graduate for a full-time, one year clerkship position based in New York City. This role requires a JD and is intended for recent law school graduates with 0–2 years of legal experience.
The Law Clerk will assist senior attorneys with a wide variety of transactional matters across all News Group properties in the areas of digital / technology, e-commerce, business development, OTT distribution, content licensing, sponsorships and events, as well as provide support for other general commercial matters. The Law Clerk will work closely with clients, conduct research, contribute to drafting agreements and assist with handling department projects, as needed. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated interest in media and news, and experience with master services agreements, SaaS agreements, statements of work, content licenses and related agreements.
The position is based in New York City and has been designated as hybrid, contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States for the entire term of the clerkship.
Compensation for the position is $40 per hour for 40 hours a week. Please note this is a temporary position in which you would be employed by AllSource, but assigned to NBCUniversal for the duration of your employment.
