Market Research and Customer Insights Analyst

About Us:

Furniture Drop is looking to expand our team by bringing in a dedicated and skilled Market Research and Customer Insights Analyst to help us stay ahead of market trends, analyze competitors, and enhance customer relationships.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive person to lead and support our market research initiatives. This role involves analyzing vendor and competitor products, conducting in-depth market analysis, and developing strategies to foster strong relationships with our customers and partners.

You will play a critical role in identifying market opportunities, helping us navigate competitive landscapes, and ensuring our product offerings align with customer needs and preferences.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Market Research & Product Analysis:

Conduct thorough research on current industry trends and emerging market opportunities.

Perform competitor analysis to assess strengths, weaknesses, and market positioning.

Evaluate vendor products and services to ensure we maintain a competitive edge in the market.

Vendor Relations & Negotiations:

Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key suppliers and vendors.

Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and other terms with vendors to secure favorable agreements.

Monitor vendor performance and resolve any issues related to product quality or delivery.

 

Customer Insights & Relationship Management:

Develop and execute strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Collect and analyze customer feedback to improve our product offerings and services.

Provide insights into customer behavior and preferences, helping to shape future product and marketing strategies.

 

Reporting & Strategy Development:

Prepare comprehensive reports on market trends, competitor strategies, and customer feedback.

Collaborate with internal teams (sales, marketing, product development) to implement strategies based on research findings.

 

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree (or currently pursuing) in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to process complex data and extract actionable insights.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with vendors, customers, and internal teams.

Proficiency in market research tools and CRM software.

Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
