Staff Accountant
As a Staff Accountant at Cantey, Tiller, Pierce & Green, LLP, you will work on a wide variety of audit and or tax engagements.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Serve clients from various industries
- Communicate with team and clients
- Develop auditing skills while performing audit test work
- Develop tax knowledge while preparing basic and intermediate individual tax returns
- Prepare federal and state corporate tax returns and partnership returns
- Prepare and organize workpapers for client files
- Perform other essential duties as needed
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
- Eligibility to work toward obtaining CPA license
- Ability to work overtime during busy seasons
- Proficiency with Microsoft software
- Ability to travel to client sites as needed, including same day travel and occasional out of town travel
