Business Development - Data Science Intern, New York
Business Development attracts, identifies, and evaluates world-class trading talent. Interns will support Business Development by developing data science solutions, analyze performance patterns across asset classes, and translate insights into actionable business recommendations.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in designing and building machine learning imputation models as well as testing their performances.
- Support the expansion of LLM models for internal knowledge base.
- Apply advanced statistical techniques to interpret key findings from quantitative data in a business context.
- Conduct ad-hoc data analysis, including data cleaning and processing.
- Document code and models, helping to enrich the team’s knowledge sharing efforts.
- Keep abreast of developments in artificial intelligence capabilities and implement best practices.
Qualifications:
- Candidate graduating between December 2027 and June 2028.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5
- Majoring in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Familiarity with machine learning techniques and algorithms.
- Knowledge in data science libraries, such as pandas, NumPy, matplotlib, Scikit-learn, etc.
- Proficiency in Python and SQL. Experience with Tableau is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex findings to a non-technical audience.
- Detail-oriented, curious, and has a keen interest in decoding patterns within data.
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
The estimated base salary for this position is $125,000 which is specific to New York and may change in the future.
