Data Analyst
A fast-growing national security software company based in Arlington, VA is seeking a Data Analyst to join its implementation team. Role:
As a Data Analyst, you'll work at the intersection of analytics, software, and client outcomes. Youβll configure platforms, analyze critical data, and present insights that shape decisions across key U.S. defense programs. The role includes collaborating directly with clients, traveling nationwide, and turning data into action that drives mission success.
Responsibilities:
π Become an expert in the product, platform, and client use cases
π» Configure software and integrate data using SQL and Python
π§ Translate complex datasets into clear, actionable insights
π Present findings through compelling data visualizations and briefings
π Support product training, onboarding, and strategic usage
π Maintain documentation and tailored user guides
π Travel up to 75% to support clients across the U.S. (CONUS + OCONUS)
Requirements:

U.S. Citizenship required
π Bachelorβs degree in Business, Analytics, Computer Science, Political Science, or related field
π§ͺ 1β4 years of relevant experience (including internships or research)
π Familiarity with SQL, Python, R, or the ability to learn them quickly
π£ Strong verbal and written communication skills
π Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and adapt fast
Nice to Have:
π Understanding of defense acquisition or program management
π Active security clearance (or willingness to obtain one)
π Prior experience in SaaS, analytics, or advisory services
π Exposure to tools like React, Java, or Typescript
