About the Project

Robert Half is seeking detail-oriented and technically capable contract workers to support a one-year project focused on processing mutual fund holdings. This role is ideal for candidates with a blend of technical aptitude and a foundational understanding of financial instruments.

Responsibilities

• Create data processing templates within internal applications to manage mutual fund holdings.
• Conduct thorough end-to-end testing of templates to ensure data flows accurately into production environments.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and escalate any data discrepancies or system issues during testing.
• Collaborate with internal teams to support the rollout of new software features or updates.
• Maintain high levels of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of data handling and processing.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Some hands-on technical experience; familiarity with Python or similar scripting languages preferred.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work with complex datasets.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Basic understanding of mutual funds or broader financial markets is a plus.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.

Nice to Have

• Prior experience in a financial data processing or quality assurance/testing role.
• Educational background in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or related field.
