About the Opportunity:
As a Dentist at Community Health, you’ll be part of a collaborative, mission-driven team providing high-quality, comprehensive oral health care to patients of all ages. Based in our state-of-the-art dental facility in Rutland, Vermont—opened just one year ago, this role offers the chance to practice in a modern, thoughtfully designed environment alongside an experienced and supportive care team.
You’ll deliver full-scope preventive and restorative dental services in a practice that prioritizes access, health equity, and whole-person care. Our Rutland dental team works closely with on-site medical, behavioral health, and pharmacy professionals to ensure patients receive integrated, wraparound care.

Compensation
We offer a market-competitive and comprehensive compensation package designed to support your professional and personal goals.
The starting salary for this position is $200,000 for new graduates, with additional consideration commensurate with experience. For those interested in performance-based models, there is opportunity to earn $400,000+ annually under our RVU productivity structure, while maintaining a 4-day work week and outpatient-only schedule.
Highlights include:
- Competitive base salary + performance bonus
- $30,000 sign-on bonus
- Up to $10,000 in relocation support
- 403(b) retirement plan with 4% employer match + additional contribution options
- CME: 1 week + $6,000 annual allowance
- Generous paid time off: 4 weeks plus holidays. 5+ weeks plus holidays after 1.5 years of employment

Loan Repayment Support:
We are proud to support multiple avenues for educational loan repayment:
- HRSA NHSC Programs – Up to $250,000 depending on specialty and term
- Public Service Loan Forgiveness eligibility
- Vermont AHEC Loan Repayment – Up to $50,000/year for 6 years
- Community Health Loan Support – Up to $60,000 over 6 years for those not awarded state/federal funds
Education:
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from an accredited dental school
- Completion of an accredited residency program (preferred but not required)
- Board Certification or eligibility strongly preferred
- Must be eligible for licensure in the State of Vermont
