Front Desk Staff - Union Station - FWS
This position is responsible for providing part-time customer service and administrative support at Union Station.
Essential Job Duties
- Operate the University “Switchboard.”
- Answer and transfer calls to desired department or individual.
- Field any questions that may be asked and answer them both knowledgeably and professionally.
- Receive and process tuition and other payments upon request.
- Process mail, over-the-telephone and in-person payments.
- Answer questions concerning student accounts, refunds, and tuition charges that are asked either in person or via telephone inquiries.
- Greet any students, parents or visitors that arrive at Union Station, including directing them to a requested location and answering questions professionally.
- Maintain the petty cash drawer and transcript money.
- Help create a student-friendly environment that is both welcoming and open while maintaining professionalism between and among students and employees.
- Confirm mailing addresses for students receiving a refund check.
- Other duties as assigned by the Union Station Manager.
