Front Desk Staff - Union Station - FWS

This position is responsible for providing part-time customer service and administrative support at Union Station.

Essential Job Duties

  • Operate the University “Switchboard.”
    • Answer and transfer calls to desired department or individual.
    • Field any questions that may be asked and answer them both knowledgeably and professionally.
  • Receive and process tuition and other payments upon request.
    • Process mail, over-the-telephone and in-person payments.
    • Answer questions concerning student accounts, refunds, and tuition charges that are asked either in person or via telephone inquiries.
  • Greet any students, parents or visitors that arrive at Union Station, including directing them to a requested location and answering questions professionally.
  • Maintain the petty cash drawer and transcript money.
  • Help create a student-friendly environment that is both welcoming and open while maintaining professionalism between and among students and employees.
  • Confirm mailing addresses for students receiving a refund check.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Union Station Manager.
