About the Zero Hunger Generation Program
Zero Hunger Generation is WFP USA’s youth initiative designed to empower college students and young professionals to take action against global hunger. This program invites U.S.-based individuals to join a movement of passionate changemakers and provides them with tools, recognition, and community to maximize their impact.

 

Overall Program Description
As a ZHG member, you will gain access to a platform where you can take meaningful actions—like volunteering, fundraising, hosting events, or amplifying content—and earn points for your participation. These points can be redeemed for perks such as service hour validation, exclusive events, and professional development opportunities.

 

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Participate in hunger-focused volunteering and advocacy efforts.
  • Complete tasks listed in the “Start Earning Points Today” section on the ZHG landing page.
  • Log and validate volunteer hours and other activities.
  • Represent WFP USA’s mission in your community or campus.
  • Engage in seasonal opportunities and leadership experiences.

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

  • Interest in global hunger, humanitarian action, or international development.
  • Willingness to take initiative and engage peers.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Comfort navigating online platforms and social media.
